We’re big fans of TED. We love new ideas, and there are just so many of them that are worth sharing. TED is all about that: ideas worth sharing. Both the organisers and speakers put their hearts and souls into every event … and they’re changing the world as they do so: one talk at a time.

Aubrey de Grey is one such visionary. A British researcher, he’s waging a war on ageing. In fact, Aubrey claims he has drawn a roadmap to defeat biological ageing. He even goes so far to suggest that the first human beings who will live to 1,000 years old … have already been born.

In a nutshell, de Grey explains that ageing is merely a disease. And it’s curable. Humans can avert each of the seven basic ways in which we age.
